About the 2001 Pokemon Neo Discovery set

Neo Discovery is the ninth English Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion, released by Wizards of the Coast on June 1, 2001 and adapted from the Japanese Crossing the Ruins... expansion. The English set has 75 cards and no secret cards.

The set is built around the Ruins of Alph and Unown. It includes ten Unown letters, led by the holo Unown [A] #14 and its non-holo counterpart #33, with search aliases such as "Unown A" preserved for collectors.

Neo Discovery also introduced two headline Neo-era Eeveelution holos, Espeon #1 and Umbreon #13, alongside popular holo rares such as Houndoom, Houndour, Kabutops, Scizor and Tyranitar. Every card is tracked in both 1st Edition and Unlimited; the Edition 1 stamp is the print tell.
