About Woodie Thornton
Born 1882 in California, Pennsylvania (d. 1956 in Mobile, Alabama), Woody Thornton was an outfielder who played in the minor leagues from 1902 to 1914, primarily with Mobile of the Southern Association and Cotton States League, and never reached the major leagues.
