Results from our 10th 1953 Topps Complete Set Break

Our tenth 1953 Topps Complete Set Break ran Thursday, 3/25/25 as scheduled. Thank you again to all who took part! 

The biggest hit of the break was the SGC 5 #82 Mickey Mantle; the winner of this iconic card was Mike Gersh! Mike is a repeat participant who had ten spots in this break. He ultimately landed just two of the set's 85 graded cards, but of course took the one that matters the most. Congratulations again Mike! 

The other major hit of the break was the SGC 3 #244 Willie Mays. The Mays card went to Phil Mowery who had just two spot and amazingly hit big! Another Phil, Phil Laws, landed the PSA 4 Satchel Paige. Congratulations again Phil!

Additionally, Skunk Protection for the break ran yesterday evening, 3/26, in a separate livestream. Fifteen spots won additional prizes in the Skunk Production draw. The second spot landed a PSA 10 1994 Bowman's Best card of Derek Jeter & Barry Larkin. This gourgeous and relatively early shiny went to Blake Vojtasek. Additionally, a free spot in our 9th 1954 Topps Complete Set Break was awarded to Kelly Engel, who then also bought a few more spots in the break afterwards! Congratulations and thanks again Blake & Kelly!
