1966 Topps #183 3rd Series Checklist: 177-264

About this card
The seven checklist cards (#34, 101, 183, 279, 363, 444, 517) divide the set into seven numbered blocks (1-88 through 507-598; four of 88 cards, then 77, 77 and 92) that lag the print series: each later checklist was printed with the series before the one it lists, so the "6th Series" checklist #444 is a series-5 card and the "7th Series" #517 a series-6 card. Five of the seven come in two states.
The story on this card
Card 183 in the 1966 Topps set is the third series checklist, listing cards 177 through 264. Like the set's other checklists, it carries no player photograph, just the numbered roster of names so a set-builder could track that block of the release. Collectors separate two printings of this card by the size of the numbered name list on the checklist front: in the large-print version the names run down to the bottom border, while the small-print version leaves a wide gap above it. Because it names no single player, the card carries no rookie-card status of its own. Card 183 belongs to print series two of the 1966 Topps set.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Data as of 2026-09-04. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. Where a grader registers a variation separately its population is listed under that variation; PSA slabs whose label names no variation are listed as not designated, while SGC slabs whose label names no variation are counted under 183a - Large Print On Front. Where SGC registers no separate row for a variation state, its slabs of that card are listed under the base state.
