About this card

The seven checklist cards (#34, 101, 183, 279, 363, 444, 517) divide the set into seven numbered blocks (1-88 through 507-598; four of 88 cards, then 77, 77 and 92) that lag the print series: each later checklist was printed with the series before the one it lists, so the "6th Series" checklist #444 is a series-5 card and the "7th Series" #517 a series-6 card. Five of the seven come in two states.

The story on this card

Card 363 in the 1966 Topps set is the fifth series checklist, listing cards 353 through 429. Like the set's other checklists, it carries no player photograph, just the numbered roster of names so a set-builder could track that block of the release as wax packs were opened. It is the fifth of seven checklist cards Topps issued across the year's seven print series, and one of the plainer entries in that run, without a documented printing variation of its own. Card 363 belongs to print series four of the 1966 Topps set.

Where SGC registers no separate row for a variation state, its slabs of that card are listed under the base state.
