1966 Topps #348 Baltimore Orioles
Hall of Famers on the 1965 Baltimore Orioles roster: Luis Aparicio, Jim Palmer, Robin Roberts and Brooks Robinson.

About this card
Nineteen team cards cover twenty clubs - Houston has none. Three of them, #303 Indians, #326 Braves and #404 Pirates, were printed with and without a dot between the standings line and the league name in the band at the foot of the front, and both states are tracked here.
The story on this card
This team card reports on the 1965 Baltimore Orioles, who finished third in the American League at 94-68 under manager Hank Bauer, eight games behind the champion Minnesota Twins, ahead of Detroit and Cleveland but unable to catch the Twins or the second-place Chicago White Sox. The club played that season at Memorial Stadium, a year before the Orioles put the smiling cartoon bird on their caps in 1966. The club's roster carried four future Hall of Famers: Luis Aparicio, Jim Palmer, Robin Roberts and Brooks Robinson. Card #348 belongs to print series four of the 1966 Topps set.

Where SGC registers no separate row for a variation state, its slabs of that card are listed under the base state.
