1969 Topps #504 6th Series Check List: 513-588
The front pictures Brooks Robinson.

About this card
The seven checklist cards (#57, 107, 214, 314, 412, 504, 582) each list one series, and every checklist after the first was printed inside the series before the one it lists - #107 "2nd Series Check List" is a series-1 card. Six of the seven carry an inset photo of a star player, and two of them (#107 and #582) exist in two printing states.
The story on this card
Card 504 is the sixth of seven series checklists in the 1969 Topps set, listing the sixth series' 76 cards from card 513, Camilo Pascual, through card 588, Bill White. Printed in the fifth series, one run ahead of the numbers it covers, it belongs to a 664-card set that was the largest Topps had issued to date, with the seventh and final series that follows it among the scarcest cards of the year. Like most of that year's checklists, it carries a small photo of a star player at the top in place of a biography -- here Brooks Robinson -- but as a checklist it makes no rookie or Hall of Fame claim of its own.
