About Charley Carr
Born December 27, 1875 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania (d. 1932), Charlie Carr was a right-handed-hitting, right-handed-throwing first baseman who batted .252 over seven major-league seasons between 1898 and 1914 with five clubs, and served as player-manager of the Indianapolis Indians in the American Association from 1906 to 1910, winning the 1908 pennant.
