The story on this card
Card 465 in the 1962 Topps set is the Cincinnati Reds team card, print series 6. It reports the 1961 season, when the Reds went 93-61 under manager Fred Hutchinson and won their first National League pennant in 21 years, four games clear of the Los Angeles Dodgers, before the New York Yankees took the World Series in five. Picked before the season to finish sixth in the eight-team league, Cincinnati rode future Hall of Famer Frank Robinson's MVP year plus big seasons from Vada Pinson, Gordy Coleman, Gene Freese and pinch-hitter Jerry Lynch, starters Joey Jay, Jim O'Toole and Bob Purkey, and a bullpen of Bill Henry and Jim Brosnan. They played at Crosley Field, host of Cincinnati's first World Series games in 21 years.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-09-24. Half-grades fold down (8.5→8), and PSA's qualified grades are counted separately from the straight-grade rows shown here. Slabs of the three cards printed #139 are joined by description, never by number alone. PSA registers the green tints as a separate set; a tint's population is listed under that state of the card it belongs to.
