The story on this card
Card 158 is the Milwaukee Braves team card in the 1962 Topps set, a second-series card. It reports the 1961 season at County Stadium: 83-71, fourth in the National League, ten games behind the pennant-winning Cincinnati Reds. Chuck Dressen was fired on September 2 with the club third at 71-58, and Birdie Tebbetts came down from the front office to finish 12-13. Four future Hall of Famers were on hand - Hank Aaron (.327, 34 homers, 120 RBI), Eddie Mathews, young catcher Joe Torre, and 40-year-old Warren Spahn, who went 21-13 with a 3.02 ERA and no-hit the Giants in April. Milwaukee topped a million at the gate for the last time. Two states exist: 158a without the green tint, 158b with it.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-09-24. Half-grades fold down (8.5→8), and PSA's qualified grades are counted separately from the straight-grade rows shown here. Where a grader registers a variation separately its population is listed under that variation. Slabs of the three cards printed #139 are joined by description, never by number alone. PSA registers the green tints as a separate set; a tint's population is listed under that state of the card it belongs to.
