About this card

This is one of the seven checklist cards (#9, #128, #244, #343, #432, #542 and #588), and they follow the seven series exactly: #9 lists the first series, and each of the other six, printed in the series before, lists the next one, from #128 (#133-263) to #588 (#634-720). Those six each come in two states - #128 and #588 a correction on one checklist line, #244, #343 and #542 the color of the bat on the front, and #432 the color of "Baseball" on the front.

The story on this card

Card #432 is a checklist from the fourth series that lists the cards of the fifth series, #460-546. Topps issued it in two printings that differ in the lettering of the word Baseball on the front, one in yellow letters and one in white. Master-set collectors track both. It is one of seven 1970 checklists and one of six that exist in two states: #128 and #588 differ in a corrected name on the list, while #244, #343 and #542 differ in the color of the bat on the front.
