This is one of the 24 team cards, one for each club, and every club also has a manager card of its own.

The story on this card

The 1969 Houston Astros went 4-20 in April and finished 81-81 under Harry Walker, fifth in the new National League West and 12 games behind Atlanta. It was the first time the franchise had finished at .500 or better. The turn came on May 1, when Don Wilson no-hit Cincinnati one day after Jim Maloney had no-hit Houston. Wilson struck out 235, Larry Dierker 232 and rookie Tom Griffin 200. The staff's 1,221 strikeouts stood as a record until 1996. Dierker became the first Astros pitcher to win 20 games in a season, and Jimmy Wynn reached base in 52 straight games. Denis Menke and Wynn hit grand slams in the same inning at Shea Stadium on July 30. Joe Morgan, the future Hall of Famer, was on the roster. The team card, #448 in the 1970 Topps set, comes from the fourth series and pictures the club that played at the Astrodome.
