The story on this card

Texas finished sixth in the American League West at 57-105 in 1973, its second season in Arlington. Whitey Herzog, later a Hall of Fame manager, began the year as manager and went 47-91; Del Wilber won one game and Billy Martin finished at 9-14. The club scored 619 runs and allowed 844. David Clyde, the first overall pick in the June draft, reached the majors 22 days later without a minor-league game, and he won his first start before the first sellout crowd in club history. He finished the season 4-8 with a 5.01 ERA. On July 30 Jim Bibby no-hit the Oakland Athletics 6-0 for the first no-hitter in Rangers history. The Rangers team card is #184 in the 1974 Topps set, and Martin appears as manager on #379.
