The story on this card

Earl Weaver's 1975 Orioles won 90 and lost 69, finishing second in the American League East, 4 1/2 games behind the Boston Red Sox. They stayed in the race until the New York Yankees swept a doubleheader at Shea Stadium on September 27. Rain from Hurricane Eloise left the Orioles with 159 games played. The staff posted a 3.17 team ERA with 70 complete games and 19 shutouts, and Jim Palmer appears on the American League wins and ERA leaders cards (#200 and #202). Brooks Robinson, another Hall of Famer, was on the roster, and 1,002,157 fans came through Memorial Stadium. Card #73 is the Orioles team card, with a small inset photo of Weaver on the front.
