The story on this card

Houston climbed from 64-97 in 1975 to 80-82 in 1976, a 15 1/2 game improvement in Bill Virdon's first full season at the helm, and finished third in the NL West, 22 games behind Cincinnati. J. R. Richard became the second 20-game winner in club history with a 2.75 ERA and 214 strikeouts. Cesar Cedeno stole a club-record 58 bases, won his fifth straight Gold Glove and homered in the All-Star Game. On July 9 Larry Dierker no-hit Montreal 6-0, the fifth no-hitter in franchise history. Floyd Bannister became the club's first number one overall draft pick. Card #327 pictures the Houston team and names Virdon as manager.
