About Enos Slaughter

Born 1916 in Roxboro, NC (d. 2002), Enos Slaughter was a left-handed outfielder who debuted in 1938 and played 19 major-league seasons. He batted .300 with 2,383 hits, 169 home runs, 1,304 RBI, and 71 stolen bases over 2,380 games. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
