1968 Topps #63 Dick Kenworthy
The card pictures Kenworthy with the New York Mets, though Baseball-Reference shows all of his 1966-68 games were played with the Chicago White Sox; card checklists list the team as printed on the card.

About Dick Kenworthy
Dick Kenworthy's 1968 season was his last in the majors and his busiest, appearing in 58 games for the White Sox with 122 at-bats, a .221 average and 2 RBI, mostly at third base. His 1968 Topps card, #63, is a first-series issue, and his recognized rookie card. It pictures him with the New York Mets rather than the White Sox he played for that year; TCDB, Cardboard Connection and Beckett list the team as printed on the card.
Dick Kenworthy was a third baseman who spent his entire six-season major league career with the Chicago White Sox between 1962 and 1968. Born in Red Oak, Iowa, the right-handed hitter signed with the White Sox organization in 1961 out of the University of Missouri and was assigned to Class-A Clinton, where he set a club record with 22 home runs in a season. Cracking the White Sox roster proved difficult, and Kenworthy spent several seasons trying to win a permanent spot behind established infielders Don Buford and Pete Ward before finally sticking as a semi-regular in 1967 and 1968. Listed at 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, he was a steady glove more than a power threat, finishing his career with a .215 batting average, four home runs and 13 RBI across 125 games. His busiest seasons came late in his run, appearing in 50 games in 1967 and 58 in 1968, his last as a big leaguer. Kenworthy died in Kansas City, Missouri in 2010 at age 69.
