About this card

The story on this card

Checklist #478 is a series four card in the 1972 Topps set and lists the cards from #526 through #656. Collectors separate two printings of #478, one with small print on the front and one with large print on the front, and checklist #251 carries the same size split. The set introduced Boyhood Photos, Awards and Trophy cards, In Action cards and Traded cards. That run includes Don Sutton at #530, Brooks Robinson at #550, Pete Rose at #559, Juan Marichal at #567, Nolan Ryan at #595, Al Kaline at #600 and Phil Niekro at #620.
