The story on this card

Milwaukee's 1978 season was the first winning one in franchise history, counting the 1969 Seattle Pilots. George Bamberger's Brewers went 93-69 and finished third in the American League East, scoring 804 runs and hitting 173 home runs. Future Hall of Famers Paul Molitor and Robin Yount were on the roster. More than 1.6 million fans came through County Stadium, in the club's ninth year in Milwaukee after the move from Seattle in March 1970. Card #577 pairs the Brewers with Bamberger.

On Father's Day in 1951, Ottawa Giants pitcher George Bamberger no-hit Toronto in a 1-0 win. His bases-loaded walk drove in the only run; his daughter Judy had been born the night before.
