About Ed Konetchy
Born 1885 in La Crosse, WI (d. 1947), Ed Konetchy was a right-handed first baseman who debuted in 1907 and played 15 major-league seasons. He batted .281 with 2,150 hits, 74 home runs, and 255 stolen bases in 2,085 games.
