About Orestes Minoso
Born 1925 in La Habana, La Habana (d. 2015), Orestes Minoso was a right-handed outfielder who debuted in 1949 and played 17 major-league seasons. He batted .298 with 1,963 hits, 186 home runs, 1,023 RBI, and 205 stolen bases over 1,835 games. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
