1955 Topps All-American #22 Brick Muller
Won Olympic silver in the high jump in 1920.

About Brick Muller
Harold 'Brick' Muller — the nickname came from his flaming red hair — was the end on Andy Smith's California 'Wonder Teams' and never played in a losing game for the Golden Bears from 1920 to 1922. The first West Coast player to earn consensus All-America honors, he was chosen in both 1921 and 1922. His signature moment came in the 1921 Rose Bowl, a 28-0 rout of Ohio State, when he uncorked a touchdown pass to Brodie Stephens that first reports stretched to 70 yards and later accounts settled at 53 — a staggering throw with the fat ball of the day. Months earlier he had won silver in the high jump at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics. Muller entered the College Football Hall of Fame in 1951, earned his M.D. at Berkeley, and practiced as an orthopedic surgeon, returning to the Olympics as head physician for the 1956 U.S. team. Cal still gives the Brick Muller Award to its best lineman.
