1988-89 Fleer #74 Terry Cummings

About Terry Cummings
By the time Fleer's 1988-89 set hit shelves, Terry Cummings was six seasons deep, so card #74 is no rookie card — it catches the Bucks' bruising forward right at his peak. A consensus All-American at DePaul, Cummings went second overall to the San Diego Clippers in 1982, one pick behind James Worthy, and promptly won Rookie of the Year with 23.7 points and 10.6 boards a night. Traded to Milwaukee in 1984, he made both of his All-Star teams as a Buck (1985, 1989) and earned All-NBA Second Team in 1985 and Third Team honors in 1988-89 — the very season on this card, when he scored 22.9 per game. Nicknamed "Preacher" because he has been an ordained Pentecostal minister since 1977, Cummings famously outscored rookie Michael Jordan in the 1985 playoffs — the only postseason series Jordan ever played without leading all scorers. He retired in 2000 with 19,460 points across 18 seasons.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
