About Aaron Rosenberg

Aaron Rosenberg anchored the Southern California line at guard from 1931 to 1933, a punishing blocker and tackler on Trojan teams that went 30-2-1 and claimed national championships in 1931 and 1932. He earned All-America honors in 1932 and consensus recognition in 1933, and opponents remembered him as the driving voice of the USC front; Stanford All-American Bobby Grayson called him "the true motivating influence" in that line. The College Football Hall of Fame inducted him in 1966. Rosenberg went on to a second remarkable career in Hollywood, producing more than sixty films, among them Winchester '73, The Glenn Miller Story, To Hell and Back, and 1962's Mutiny on the Bounty, which earned a Best Picture Academy Award nomination; he later produced the long-running television series Daniel Boone.
