1968 Topps #136 Randy Hundley
A look-alike with a yellow-tinged back was used in a 1968 Milton Bradley board game.

About Randy Hundley
Hundley set a major league record in 1968 by catching 160 games, though the heavy workload contributed to a .226 batting average. His 1968 Topps card, number 136, comes from the second print series; a look-alike with a yellow-tinged back was used in a Milton Bradley board game issued the same year.
Randy Hundley caught for the Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins, and San Diego Padres across fourteen big-league seasons from 1964 to 1977. Signed by the Giants out of Virginia, he was traded to Chicago before the 1966 season and quickly became the Cubs' everyday catcher, setting durability records behind the plate while introducing a one-handed catching style that later catchers adopted. He won a Gold Glove in 1967 and earned an All-Star selection in 1969, the year Chicago held first place for months before fading late. Knee injuries in the early 1970s slowed him, and he finished his playing career with brief stops in Minnesota and San Diego before closing it out back with the Cubs. He later managed in the minor leagues and founded baseball fantasy camps for adult fans.
