About Roy Foster

His #107 is a rookie card from the first series of the 1971 Topps set, and the front carries the Topps All-Star Rookie trophy cup, a selection that reflected the previous season.
Roy Foster was an outfielder who reached the majors with Cleveland in 1970 and played through 1972. He debuted on April 7 and hit .268 with 23 home runs and 60 RBI as a 1970 rookie, and he drew one vote for the American League Rookie of the Year Award. Over 337 games he batted .253 with 45 home runs and 118 RBI. He died in Tulsa on March 21, 2008, at age 62, and was inducted posthumously into Booker T. Washington's Ring of Honor in 2022.
