Jeff Terpko pitched in relief for Texas and Montreal in three major-league seasons. The Washington Senators selected him in the fifth round of the 1968 draft, taking the right-hander from Sayre High School in Pennsylvania. He began with Geneva in the New York-Penn League at 17 and moved to Triple-A Buffalo for his next assignment. A stint with Double-A Pittsfield followed. Terpko reached the majors with Texas on September 21, 1974, and later pitched for Baltimore's Triple-A Rochester club in 1978. He finished with a 3.14 ERA in 48 major-league appearances.
