Steve Luebber was a right-handed pitcher from Clinton, Missouri, who reached the majors with the Minnesota Twins in 1971 and made his final appearances with the Baltimore Orioles in 1981. He kept pitching in the Rangers, Tigers and Padres organizations through 1983, returned to the Padres' farm system from 1986 to 1988, and in 1989 and 1990 pitched for the Fort Myers Sun Sox of the Senior Professional Baseball Association.
