1988-89 Fleer #103 Frank Brickowski

About Frank Brickowski
Frank Brickowski took the scenic route to a rookie card. A Penn State big man who won the Lawther Award as the Nittany Lions' 1980 MVP, he went to the Knicks in the third round of the 1981 draft, 57th overall, then spent three seasons in Italy, France, and with Maccabi Tel Aviv before finally debuting with Seattle in 1984. Fleer didn't catch up until 1988-89 — this #103 is his rookie card, landing just as the bruising 6-9 center/forward peaked in San Antonio with a career-best 16.0 points per game in 1987-88 and 13.7 the year this card hit packs. "Brick," as the shorthand version of his surname went around the league, later logged four sturdy seasons in Milwaukee and resurfaced with the 1995-96 Sonics, trading elbows with Dennis Rodman in the 1996 Finals. He retired in 1997 with 7,302 points across 731 NBA games.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
