1988-89 Fleer #12 Robert Parish

About Robert Parish
Robert Parish piled up huge numbers in near-anonymity at Centenary College — the NCAA kept his stats out of its record books until 2018 — before Golden State took him eighth overall in 1976. Red Auerbach's legendary 1980 trade brought him to Boston along with the pick that became Kevin McHale, and the 7-1 center anchored the Celtics' Big Three frontcourt with Larry Bird for 14 seasons, winning titles in 1981, 1984, and 1986, then adding a fourth with the 1997 Bulls at age 43. Teammate Cedric Maxwell nicknamed him 'The Chief' after the stoic Chief Bromden in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. This isn't a rookie card — he debuted in 1976 — but it catches him mid-prime: in 1988-89 Parish averaged 18.6 points and 12.5 rebounds and made All-NBA Third Team at 35. A nine-time All-Star, he retired with 23,334 points, 14,715 rebounds, and 1,611 games played — second all-time — and entered the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2003.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
