About Frank Chance
Born 1876 in Fresno, CA (d. 1924), Frank Chance was a right-handed first baseman who debuted in 1898 and played 17 major-league seasons. He batted .296 with 1,273 hits, 20 home runs, and 401 stolen bases in 1,287 games. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946.
