Description
9/2 Updates:
- This break is now full! It is scheduled to run this coming Wednesday, 9/4 at 6pm CST. Set a reminder to watch it stream live on YouTube or Facebook.
- (10) Spots in our 1953 Topps Break have been added as additional prizes to the 1955 Topps Break! You'll see them sprinkled throughout the checklist for the break.
All participants in the 1955 Topps Break will have a shot at the ten spots in the 1953 Topps Break, no additional action required. The 1953 Topps Complete Set Break went live last week and features an SGC 2.5 Mantle and a SGC 3 Mays.
About the Set
The 1955 Topps set has a total of 206 cards and contains three iconic rookie cards of legendary Hall of Famers: Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax and Harmon Killebrew.
This is our sixth 1955 Topps Complete Set Break and as always features a relatively short checklist loaded with hits. The set is over a quarter graded and boasts a total of 57 cards slabbed by PSA, SGC, CSG and Beckett including all-graded HOF cards and four on-card autographs.
The Roberto Clemente RC is a lovely SGC 4.5 example, the Sandy Koufax is a gorgeous PSA 4, Willie Mays and Jackie Robinson are both graded SGC 4, and the Harmon Killebrew RC is graded SGC 4.5. Additional hits worth mentioning individually include the PSA 4 #47 Hank Aaron card, the PSA 3 Ted Williams and the PSA 4 #198 Yogi Berra!
Card numbers and spot numbers match until Spot #175, since cards numbered 175, 186, 203, and 209 were never issued. That's why card numbers go to 210, while there are only 206 spots.
Review the full checklist with specific conditions of each card.

How it Works
Participants purchase a spot or multiple, each guaranteeing them one random card from the set. For this break, each spot receives one random card from this curated complete 1955 Topps set, which includes a total of 57 graded cards.
Participants purchase a spot or multiple, each guaranteeing them one random card from the set. For this break, each spot receives one random card from this curated complete 1955 Topps set, which includes a total of 57 graded cards.
After we fill, we will schedule a time to stream live and notify all participants at least 24 hours in advance. The list will be randomized and each spot will be assigned a random card from the set. A spot will hit the Roberto Clemente RC, a spot hit the Koufax RC, etc.
We utilize the Random.org randomizer, starting of by using 2 dice with a 9 roll minimum to determine the number of list shuffles. The randomizer run will be performed by a trusted video runner and streamed live in our Facebook Group and on our YouTube Channel. A video recording and randomizer results are posted immediately after results are completed.
Skunk Protection
What's Skunk Protection? All spots that hit raw cards in the main break will be entered into a separate, second randomizer run that will run the day after the main break.
Ten spots will win in the Skunk Draw, specifically:
- The top spot takes a gorgeous on-card autograph of Willie Mays, an SGC 8 Auto 10 1995 Upper Deck Willie Mays #AC2! It is Willie's earliest pack-pulled autographed card.
- Spot 2 wins a Beckett Authenticated 1947-66 Exhibit Card Autographed by Warren Spahn
- Spot 3 wins a Beckett Authenticated 2005 Topps card signed by Bob Feller. It's a fantasy card from the 2005 National, which imagines what his 1955 Topps card would have looked like had he had one.
- And finally, Spots 4-10 will each receive $50 store credit
