About Duke Snider
Born 1926 in Los Angeles, CA (d. 2011), Duke Snider was a left-handed outfielder who debuted in 1947 and played 18 major-league seasons. He batted .295 with 2,116 hits, 407 home runs, 1,333 RBI, and 99 stolen bases over 2,143 games. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
