1966 Topps #127 Ken Berry

About Ken Berry
1966 Topps #127, from the set's second print series, shows him solo with the White Sox after his first full 1965 season. He improved to .271 with 8 home runs and 34 RBI in 147 games, holding down center field for a Chicago club built around pitching and defense.
Allen Kent Berry broke in with the Chicago White Sox as a 21-year-old center fielder in September 1962 and spent parts of nine seasons with the club as one of the American League's steadiest defensive outfielders. A right-handed hitter out of Kansas City, Missouri, he earned his lone All-Star selection in 1967 as the White Sox chased the pennant into the season's final days, and he backed that up with Gold Glove awards in 1970 and 1972. Traded to the California Angels after the 1970 season, Berry kept his glove sharp into his thirties, then closed his career with brief stops in Milwaukee and Cleveland. Over fourteen big-league seasons he hit .255 with 1,053 hits and a .989 fielding percentage, leading American League outfielders in fielding percentage three times. He was inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2015. He is not a National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Data as of 2026-09-04. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. Where SGC registers no separate row for a variation state, its slabs of that card are listed under the base state.
