The story on this card

Dukes' 1968 Topps card (#128) is part of the Rookie Stars subset in the set's second series, shared with Alonzo Harris under the Houston Astros banner. It is Dukes' rookie card, issued the year after his August 1967 debut with Houston. He pitched out of the Astros bullpen into the end of 1968, working 60 games combined across the two seasons with five saves. Right-handed reliever from Knoxville, Tennessee, who logged 21 saves across six big-league seasons and pitched four scoreless innings for Baltimore in the 1971 World Series.

This card looks back on Harris's brief 1967 stint with Houston, where he served strictly as a pinch runner and pinch hitter before military duty ended his season in late May and, ultimately, his major league career. It comes from the early part of the set, unlike his 1967 card. It is another Astros Rookie Stars card, pairing him with pitcher Tom Dukes, and is Dukes' rookie card; Harris had already appeared on 1967 Topps #564. Speedy Houston Astros outfield prospect who reached the majors in 1967 as a teenager, used only as a pinch runner and pinch hitter before military service ended his big-league run.
