The story on this card

Will McEnaney and Tony Perez of the Cincinnati Reds share 1977 Topps #413 in the Postseason subset, which covers the 1976 World Series finish. Perez ended Game 2 with a ninth-inning single that drove in Ken Griffey, and the Reds won 4-3. Game 4 was played at Yankee Stadium on October 21, a day late because of rain. New York led 1-0 after the first inning, its only lead of the Series, but Cincinnati tied it in the fourth and won 7-2. McEnaney pitched 2 1/3 shutout innings to end the sweep, the second straight Series in which he was on the mound for the final out. It was Perez's last game in a Reds uniform until 1984, and he and McEnaney were traded to Montreal for Woodie Fryman and Dale Murray.
