About Tim Nordbrook

In 1978 Nordbrook played nine games, all at shortstop, divided between Toronto and Milwaukee, and went hitless in five at-bats. His #369 pictures him with the Blue Jays. He stayed with the Brewers into 1979, appearing in two games, with his last on June 10.

Tim Nordbrook was a right-handed shortstop who played six seasons in the American League, from 1974 to 1979, with the Baltimore Orioles, California Angels, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers. A Baltimore native, he attended Loyola High School in Towson and Loyola University New Orleans, where he played baseball and basketball, and the Orioles drafted him in the ninth round (222nd overall) in June 1970. He debuted on September 13, 1974, and in 1977 he hit .193 in 39 games between the White Sox and Blue Jays. He finished with a .178 average in 129 games. Because he left the Angels as a free agent in 1976, California was entitled to an extra signing from that year's free-agent class. After playing, he managed in the Brewers farm system until he was fired at Stockton midway through 1984; Mike Pazik replaced him.
