Paul Moskau was a right-handed pitcher who spent five of his seven big-league seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, working both as a starter and out of the bullpen. He debuted on June 21, 1977, starting against the Philadelphia Phillies and hitting a home run; the Reds won 10-5 and he was not involved in the decision. His first win came on July 15, 1977, an 8-3 victory over the Houston Astros. His most wins in a season came in 1980, when he went 9-7 with a 4.01 ERA in 33 games. The Reds traded him to Baltimore on February 10, 1982, in a transaction completed five days later when Cincinnati received Wayne Krenchicki, and the Pirates then selected him off waivers. He went 1-3 with a 4.37 ERA for the Pirates, who released him on October 4, 1982. The Cubs picked him up, and he made eight starts for Chicago in 1983, going 3-2.
