A 7-foot center out of Auburn, Washington, Blair Rasmussen starred at Oregon, earning first-team All-Pac-10 honors three straight years (1983-85) before the Denver Nuggets took him 15th overall in the 1985 NBA Draft. Card #36 in 1988-89 Fleer is his rookie card, landing in his fourth pro season — a year he played 77 games and shot a career-best 85.2% from the line, rare touch for a big man. Rasmussen spent six seasons in Denver (1985-91) and two with the Atlanta Hawks (1991-93), peaking in 1990-91 with 12.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game across 70 games. He finished with 5,119 points and 3,006 rebounds over 532 games, his career high a 35-point night.
