1955 Topps All-American #67 Frankie Albert
Finished fourth in the 1940 Heisman Trophy vote and third in 1941.

About Frankie Albert
Frankie Albert became college football's first modern T-formation quarterback when Clark Shaughnessy arrived at Stanford in 1940 and rebuilt the offense around his ball-handling wizardry. The left-hander ran the revolutionary attack to perfection: a team that had stumbled to 1-7-1 the year before swept unbeaten through 1940 as the celebrated Wow Boys, then beat Nebraska 21-13 in the Rose Bowl behind Albert's 41-yard touchdown pass and three extra points. He earned consensus All-America honors in both 1940 and 1941 and finished third in the 1941 Heisman voting. Albert carried his sleight of hand to the original San Francisco 49ers from 1946 through 1952, sharing the All-America Football Conference's most valuable player award with Otto Graham in 1948 after throwing a league-record 29 touchdown passes, and he later returned to coach the 49ers from 1956 through 1958. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1956.
