The story on this card

Game 3 of the 1976 National League Championship Series, played October 12 at Riverfront Stadium, ended in the Reds' last at bat. Philadelphia led 6-4 in the ninth when George Foster and Johnny Bench hit back-to-back home runs off Ron Reed to tie it. Dave Concepcion scored the winning run when Ken Griffey's high bouncer got past first baseman Bobby Tolan, giving Cincinnati a 7-6 win and the series in three straight. The card pictures Pete Rose, Larry Bowa and Garry Maddox. Rose went 6 for 14 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored for the Reds. Bowa doubled in Jay Johnstone in the eighth to help put the Phillies ahead 5-4, and Maddox drove in a run with a seventh-inning double. The Reds then swept the Yankees in four games in the World Series.
