About Horace Grant

Horace Grant arrived in Chicago as the 10th pick of the 1987 draft — the same draft night that delivered Scottie Pippen — fresh off an ACC Player of the Year season at Clemson, where he became the first player ever to lead that conference in scoring, rebounding, and field-goal percentage. His 1988-89 Fleer #16 is his true rookie card, and it landed at the perfect moment: the Charles Oakley trade handed Grant the starting power forward job that season, and he answered with 12.0 points and 8.6 boards a night. His relentless glass work and defense anchored the Bulls' 1991-93 three-peat, and he added a fourth ring with the 2001 Lakers, a 1994 All-Star nod, and four straight All-Defensive Second Team honors (1993-96). Over 17 seasons with the Bulls, Magic, SuperSonics, and Lakers, Grant piled up 12,996 points and 9,443 rebounds — and long after LASIK corrected his vision, he kept wearing his trademark goggles for the kids in glasses who told him he was their hero.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
