1988-89 Fleer #21 Brad Sellers

About Brad Sellers
Card #21 marks the rookie card of Brad Sellers, the 7-foot forward Jerry Krause famously took ninth overall in the 1986 draft — over Michael Jordan's preferred pick, Duke guard Johnny Dawkins. A Warrensville Heights, Ohio product who started at Wisconsin before earning First-Team All-Big Ten honors at Ohio State in 1986, Sellers spent three seasons in Chicago (1986-89), peaking at 9.5 points per game as a 76-game starter in 1987-88 before Horace Grant's emergence squeezed his minutes. Traded to Seattle in 1989 for the pick that became B.J. Armstrong, he also suited up for Minnesota and Detroit across six NBA seasons (398 games, 6.3 ppg), and won a 1991 Greek League title with Aris on a game-winning three-point play in the final. Sellers found his real second act back home: mayor of Warrensville Heights since 2012 and a longtime Cavaliers postgame radio voice.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
