About Mike Woodson

Indianapolis-bred and Bob Knight-schooled, Mike Woodson captained Indiana to the 1979 NIT title, won Pan Am Games gold that summer as captain of Team USA, and left Bloomington as 1980 Big Ten Player of the Year before the Knicks grabbed him 12th overall in the 1980 draft. The 6-5 shooting guard carved out 11 NBA seasons with the Knicks, Nets, Kansas City/Sacramento Kings, Clippers, Rockets, and Cavaliers, peaking at 18.2 points per game for the 1982-83 Kings and retiring with 10,981 career points on a 14.0 average. Fleer's #63 catches him in his first Houston season, 1988-89, when he started 79 games and poured in 12.9 a night — no rookie card here, as Woodson had been in the league since 1980. His second act proved even bigger: an NBA championship ring as a 2003-04 Pistons assistant, head-coaching runs with the Hawks and Knicks, and a homecoming leading his alma mater Indiana from 2021 to 2025.

Graded population — a scarcity guide, not a price. Snapshot 2026-08-18. Half grades fold down for both graders (8.5→8); PSA qualified slabs (OC, ST, PD, MC and the like) are not counted. The graders do not break out the stickers, so sticker pages carry no table.
