1976 Topps #566 Ken McMullen

About Ken McMullen
McMullen hit a pinch-hit grand slam against San Diego on April 24, 1975. He drove in 14 runs in 46 at-bats that season. His 1976 Topps #566 still listed him with the Dodgers, but Los Angeles released him during spring training and he joined Oakland.
Ken McMullen played 16 major league seasons as a right-handed-hitting third baseman for the Dodgers, Senators, Angels, Athletics and Brewers. At Oxnard High School he earned first-team All-CIF Southern Section honors as an outfielder in the AAA Division in 1960. The Dodgers signed him after graduation, and he reached the majors in September 1962 at age 20. He appeared in 1,583 major league games. He finished with 1,273 hits, 156 home runs and 606 RBI. His final major league at-bat, for Milwaukee on September 14, 1977, was a pinch-hit home run off Seattle's Tom House.
