1986-87 Fleer #20 Terry Cummings

About Terry Cummings
A bruising 6'9" power forward out of DePaul University, Terry Cummings was selected 2nd overall by the San Diego Clippers in the 1982 NBA Draft, one pick after James Worthy. He made an immediate impact, averaging 23.7 points and 10.4 rebounds to win the 1983 NBA Rookie of the Year Award. Traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in 1984, Cummings became a two-time NBA All-Star (1985 and 1989) and earned All-NBA honors (Second Team in 1985), and this card captures him in that Milwaukee prime as one of the Bucks' primary scorers. A durable, physical forward, he played 18 NBA seasons (1982-2000) for eight franchises, including two stints in Milwaukee plus San Antonio, Seattle, Philadelphia, New York and Golden State. Cummings finished his career with more than 19,000 points and over 8,600 rebounds, averaging 16.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
