Description

About the Set
The 1955 Topps set has a total of 206 cards and contains three iconic rookie cards of legendary Hall of Famers: Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax and Harmon Killebrew.

This is our seventh 1955 Topps Complete Set Break and as always features a relatively short checklist loaded with hits. The set is over a quarter graded and boasts a total of 57 cards slabbed by PSA, SGC and Beckett including all-graded HOF cards and six on-card autographs.

The Roberto Clemente RC is a stunning PSA 4 example, the Sandy Koufax RC is a gorgeous SGC 4.5 and the Willie Mays is graded PSA 5.

The Hank Aaron and Jackie Robinson are both graded SGC 4, and the Harmon Killebrew RC is graded PSA 4. Additional hits worth mentioning individually include the PSA 3 Ted Williams, the SGC 4.5 Monte Irvin and the SGC 4 Ernie Banks!

Card numbers and spot numbers match until Spot #175, since cards numbered 175, 186, 203, and 209 were never issued. That's why card numbers go to 210, while there are only 206 spots.

Review the full checklist with specific conditions of each card.

How it Works
Participants purchase a spot or multiple, each guaranteeing them one random card from the set. For this break, each spot receives one random card from this curated complete 1955 Topps set, which includes a total of 57 unique graded cards.

After we fill, we will schedule a time to stream live and notify all participants at least 24 hours in advance. The list will be randomized and each spot will be assigned a random card from the set. A spot will hit the Roberto Clemente RC, a spot hit the Koufax RC, etc.

We utilize the Random.org randomizer, starting of by using 2 dice with a 9 roll minimum to determine the number of list shuffles. The randomizer run will be performed by a trusted video runner and streamed live in our Facebook Group and on our YouTube Channel. A video recording and randomizer results are posted immediately after results are completed.

Skunk Protection

What's Skunk Protection? All spots that hit raw cards in the main break will be entered into a separate, second randomizer run that will run the day after the main break.

Ten spots will win in the Skunk Draw, specifically:
  • The top spot will take Harmon Killebrew's other Topps RC, a PSA 5.5 1955 Topps Doubleheader of him and Johnny Podres!
  • In celebration of the World Series, Spot 2 will win a Shohei Ohtani Pre-RC! A Japanese PSA 10 PSA 10 2014 BBM N-H Fighters #F77 Shohei Ohtani XRC
  • Spot 3 will take an iconic BVG 3.5 1969 Topps #533 Nolan Ryan (his 2nd year card)
  • And finally, Spots 4-10 will each receive $50 store credit
