The story on this card
This card captures the Orioles' Game 4 clincher over the Dodgers. Dave McNally and veteran Don Drysdale each allowed just four hits, while Frank Robinson supplied the only run of the contest with a home run. Paul Blair robbed Jim Lefebvre of a home run in the eighth to preserve the shutout, capping a series in which Los Angeles was shut out in three of four games. The 1-0 win completed a four-game sweep, giving Baltimore its first World Series championship in franchise history and ending the Dodgers' run of frequent postseason appearances.
