The story on this card
Card #155, part of the 1967 Topps World Series subset in series 2, celebrates the Baltimore Orioles after their sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1966 World Series. Baltimore pitching allowed only two runs across all four games for a 0.50 team ERA, and the Dodgers were shut out three straight times while scoring just two runs total, the fewest ever by one team in a Series. Frank Robinson, fresh off his Triple Crown season, homered in Games 1 and 4 and was named World Series MVP, becoming the first position player on a winning club to earn the honor. Wally Bunker and Dave McNally each threw complete-game gems in Games 3 and 4, and it was the franchise's first championship.
