Paul Reuschel was a 6-foot-4 right-handed reliever who pitched five major league seasons, 1975 to 1979, with the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians. The Cubs drafted him in the fourth round in 1968. On August 21, 1975, he and his brother Rick became the only siblings to combine on a major league shutout. Rick started and went 6 1/3 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Paul pitched the last 2 2/3 innings of a 7-0 Cubs win. Paul worked almost entirely out of the bullpen, starting nine of his 198 games. His last game came on September 28, 1979, with the Indians. He finished 16-16 with a 4.51 ERA and 13 saves.
